Fecofa: Ngal’Ayel Mukau ruled out of Leopards match due to absence

Kinshasa, June 2nd, 2025 (CPA) – The Congolese Federation of Association Football (Fecofa) announced on Monday that Ngal’Ayel Mukau had been ruled out of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s (DRC) Leopards A squad due to his absence, according to a press release. ‘The Congolese Federation of Association Football (Fecofa) informs the public that the player Ngal’Ayel Mukau did not turn up at the start of the national senior team’s training camp, as part of the Fifa window in June’, it read. According to the source, the player’s absence was a breach of Leopards discipline. ‘By failing to do so, the player breached the operating regulations and the obligations of players called up to the national team’. In the end, the press release stated, ‘the technical staff of the DRC’s national eleven knew where they stood and took the decision to put an early end to any possibility of the player’s return to the squad for this international period and will apply the disciplinary provisions set out in the team’s internal regulations at the same time. Respect for the working environment and collective commitment are the fundamental values governing the functioning of the DRC national team’. It should be noted that the DRC’s Fauves are gathering in Orléans, France, for two friendly warm-up matches, one against the Eagles of Mali on Thursday 5 June at 8pm, and the second against the Baréas (Zebu) of Madagascar on Sunday 08 June at 4pm, at the Orléans stadium.
