Launching in Kinshasa of preparations for the Congolese Scientific Engineering Forum

Kinshasa, April 24th, 2025 (CPA)- The Minister in charge of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation has launched on Thursday, during a conference in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the preparatory work for the fourth edition of the Congolese Scientific Engineering Forum scheduled for next August. « Last year, in the presence of the President of the Republic, we have said that we were going to perpetuate and institutionalise the Congolese Scientific Engineering Forum. It’s an obligation we made to ourselves. So let’s respect this prediction and hold this third Forum next August », has declared Minister Gilbert Kabanda Kurhenga. The Ministry in charge of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation has organised the Conference on Congolese Scientific Engineering from August 19th to 29th, 2023 in Kinshasa, followed by the Forum on Congolese Scientific Engineering from August 13th to 29th, 2024. « Thank God, we’ve already been on the right track for two years. The launching this Thursday April 24th, 2025 in Kinshasa of the Congolese Scientific Engineering Forum marks a decisive turning point. This third round is designed to demonstrate, or convince, the Congolese people that DRC has finally embarked on the road to development, which can only be achieved through research in all fields. In any case, the stars are aligned, and now is the time to give your best« , stresses a document given to the press.  At the closure of the launching ceremony of the preparations for the third Congolese Scientific Engineering Forum, a digital portal from the Ministry in charge of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation was presented to the audience, along with an access link. The portal is designed to make it easier for applicants to submit their projects and for the general public to access the ministry’s basic data without difficulty.
