Kinshasa, May 20th, 2025 (CPA) – V.Club of Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and TP Mazembe of Lubumbashi, in Haut-Katanga, in the south-east of the country, were drawn 0-0 on Tuesday at the Martyrs stadium in Kinshasa, on the 9th day of the play-offs in the National League of football (Linafoot) championship.
Despite the two sides’ ambitions to make a difference, neither was able to offer anything to sink their teeth into, so they had to settle for a draw. As a result, the Dauphins Noirs of Kinshasa recorded their 3rd draw in these play-offs after the first two, against AC Rangers (1-1) and DC Motema Pembe (0-0), leaving them in 5th place with 12 points from 7 outings. Les ravens of Lubumbashi, meanwhile, are on the back of their first aggregate result in 7 outings, but with 10 points to their name, keeping them in 6th place in the provisional partial overall standings.
