Congo Football Cup: Nyuki-Socozaki in the Butembo derby

Kinshasa, June 25th, 2025 (CPA) – Nyuki and Socozaki from Butembo, in Nord-Kivu, in the north-east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), have been drawn on Wednesday in the quarter-finals of the 59th Congo Football Cup, following the draw.  The two teams, from the eastern zone of DRC football championship, had already met at the previous stage, with AS Nyuki winning. According to Sabin Mashini, one of the members of the Normalisation Committee (Conor) of the Congolese Football Federation (Fecofa), the teams selected first will host their respective opponents at home. The draw held on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Congolese Federation of Association Football (Fecofa) has produced the following combinations: After the quarter-finals, according to Sabin Mashini, a member of Fecofa and supervisor of the draw, the semi-finals will be held at a chosen site to be announced at the appropriate time.
