Death in Kinshasa of the comedian Abraham Kaputu from the Tuma-Haut group

Kinshasa, June 23^rd, 2025 (CPA) – The Congolese comedian Abraham Kaputu Mungamba, from the group ‘Tuma-Haut’, has died on Sunday night in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), one of his colleagues has announced on Monday, contacted by CPA. ‘It is with great sadness that I announce to you the death of our dear friend and colleague from the group, Kaputu Mungamba Roger Abraham, last night at Camp Kokolo Hospital. He had a heart problem,’ has said the comedian Barnabe Mubenga. Born in 1968, Abraham Kaputu has enjoyed the trust of the Congolese and international community thanks to his gift for making people laugh and entertain in French.
