The ministerial order states that ‘a National Directory of Vocational Training Instructors (RNFP) has been created within the Ministry in charge of Vocational Training, bringing together instructors from vocational training establishments and part-time instructors working in the Democratic Republic of Congo’. This tool for recognition and traceability is part of the drive to improve the quality of vocational training in the DRC, the source added.
The objectives of the RNFP are, in particular, to compile an exhaustive list of professional and part-time trainers working in the DRC, to ensure the transparency and traceability of the qualifications, skills and experience of professional and part-time trainers, and to promote and guarantee the quality of professional training provided in the country. The instrument also sets out the registration procedures for instructors employed by a vocational training establishment and for temporary instructors. The RNFP is public and can be consulted by the relevant departments of the ministry responsible for vocational training, accredited bodies and actively on a dedicated website. The document also provides for penalties in the event of non-compliance with the provisions of this order, it should be noted. ‘In the event of non-compliance with the provisions of this order, administrative, financial and/or disciplinary sanctions may be applied in accordance with the legal and regulatory texts in force’, the order concluded.
