Kinshasa, July 2nd, 2025 (CPA) – The coordination unit of the Transform Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo has reminded beneficiaries of the project that all its services are free of charge and that all forms of corruption are prohibited, according to a statement received by CPA on Wednesday.
‘All Transform Project services are free of charge for beneficiaries, and the Transform Project coordination unit (UCP) reminds them that all forms of corruption are strictly prohibited,’ the statement said. According to the source, the selection process is transparent and does not involve any payment, whether in cash, in kind or in any other form, including sexual favors. ‘No person or organization has been authorized to collect funds on behalf of the Project, and the training courses currently being offered are exclusively reserved for officially contacted beneficiaries and are entirely free of charge,’ the statement said. According to the same source, the drafting of business plans by trainers constitutes a conflict of interest and an act of corruption, which is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, the statement reveals that the Transform Project Coordination Unit (UCP) informs all whistleblowers and complainants that official mechanisms have been put in place to collect complaints; however, complaints related to the business plan competition process (COPA PME) must be sent by email or via their official platforms. ‘Other complaints or reports of corruption should be referred to the complaint management mechanism via the project’s website or email address,’ the statement concludes.
