Kasai: Prime Minister Judith Suminwa expected in Tshikapa on May 26th

Tshikapa, May 19th, 2025(CPA)-The Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo is expected on May 26th, 2025 in Tshikapa, the capital of Kasai province in the center of the country, where development issues will be discussed with the provincial authorities, the provincial Governor announced on Monday.  ‘In Tshikapa, the Prime Minister will discuss issues relating to the development of the province with the various sections of the population in order to gather their wishes. She will also take advantage of her stay to encourage young people to enlist in the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) to defend the country, which is under threat in its eastern part’, said Crispin Mukendi Bukasa, Governor of Kasaï province. ‘At the same time, the Prime Minister will be able to visit the capital of Kasai province and inspect the various construction sites, including the Tshilejelu project in the commune of Kanzala and the Kandjaji road in the southern part of the town’, he added.  This is the first official visit by the Head of Government to the greater Kasai region since she began her tour of the country.
