Kinshasa: Two special commissions created to investigate N’Sele’s financial revenues

Kinshasa, June 26th, 2025 (CPA). – Two (2) special commissions have been created by the municipal councilors of N’sele, in eastern Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, to investigate the municipality’s financial revenues, according to administrative sources on Thursday.  ‘The extraordinary session was convened for the purpose of creating special commissions that will help us investigate two sources of financial revenue for the municipality of N’sele,’ said Jean Sanduku, rapporteur for the N’sele municipal council. ‘It has been noted that there is a lack of transparency in the finances of the municipality’s executive branch. To remedy this situation and ascertain the truth, we have just formed two commissions tasked with investigating the revenues of various markets in the municipality and also the financial management of certain services located within the municipal building,’ he added. The rapporteur of the N’sele municipal council also stated that the council is targeting the revenue from valuable printed documents from various services within the town hall and also wants to find out how much the municipality earns per day in revenue from various markets.
