Kinshasa, June 8th, 2025 (CPA) – Mazembe of Lubumbashi, in the south-east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), outclassed Don Bosco in the same part of the country, 4-0, on Sunday at the Mazembe stadium, on the 12th day of the play-offs of the national football league (Linafoot).
The Ravens of Lubumbashi opened the scoring immediately through Landjesi Nkhoma (2nd). After this opening goal, nothing changed in terms of goals until the break. After the restart, Mazembe stepped up the pressure, dominating their opponents until they doubled their lead through Faveurdi Bongeli (59‘), before Patient Mwamba (66’) and Sulema Shaibu (90+2′) added to their tally. It was a heavy 4-0 scoreline that saw TP Mazembe beat CS Don Bosco. The win moved the Lubumbashi Crows provisionally to the top of the table on 25 points after 12 outings. The ‘Salésien’s of Don Bosco, meanwhile, are in 6th place with 20 points from as many outings.
