Linafoot: Motema Pembe lose to Mazembe (0-1) in the play-offs

Kinshasa, April 28th, 2025 (CPA) – DC Motema Pembe of Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), lost to TP Mazembe of Lubumbashi, in the southeast of the country, by 1-0 on Sunday at the Martyrs Stadium in Kinshasa, on the 2nd day of the play-offs of the National Football League (Linafoot) championship. After a goalless first forty-five minutes for both sides, the Lush Crows stepped up a gear when Magloire Tambwe Kalonji (50′) headed home Gloire Mujaya’s cross.
