Lubumbashi, June 3rd, 2025 (CPA). – The first edition of the art fair, organized under the theme “Tuko tayari,” is scheduled for June 12th to 14th in Lubumbashi, Haut-Katanga Province, in the southeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo, learned on Tuesday by CPA from the organizers. “More than forty artists from Lubumbashi, Kinshasa, Goma, and Kolwezi will exhibit their creations, including the painting, the sculptures, and the handicrafts, and it will be a moment of meeting, exchange, and performances that will make this fair a must for art and cultural innovation enthusiasts,” has indicated Didier Besongo, organizer artist painter and storyteller. The Lubumbashi Art Salon is a dynamic market that will be dedicated to the sale of works of art and crafts, he has concluded.
