Kinshasa, June 1st, 2025 (CPA).- The French club PSG has been crowned European champion after defeating Inter Milan of Italy 5-0 on Saturday at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, CPA has learned on Saturday, from international media. Playing with fire and power, PSG has given to Inter Milan a real football lesson in this final, with its defence, reputed to be one of the most impenetrable in the various European championships, taking a beating from all sides. The Moroccan Achraf Hakimi (12th) is the first to blow apart Inter’s back line, before seeing Desire Doue (20th and 63rd) score twice to seal the Parisians’ second deadly strike. With Inter Milan’s attack becoming as lifeless as its defence, PSG, in complete control, has continued its offensive momentum. To finish off Inter Milan, more than completely toothless and left the field open to the future king of European football, Paris Saint-Germain has added a fourth goal scored by Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (73rd minute). And as there is no 4 without 5, a fifth goal followed, scored by young Senny Mayulu (86th), whose parents are from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). On the strength of this manita, according to sources, PSG has won the UEFA Champions League for the first time in its history, becoming the second French team to lift the trophy, 32 years after OM’s victory in 1993. With this trophy in its showcase, Paris has achieved an unprecedented quadruple in France (Champions League, Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Trophee des Champions), leaving a lasting impression with the biggest margin of victory in a final of this competition, depriving Inter, the unfortunate finalist in 2023 (defeated by Manchester City), of a fourth star after those of 1964, 1965 and 2010.
