Kinshasa, May 28th, 2025 (CPA).-The Kremlin spokesperson has confirmed on Wednesday that no meeting will be possible until agreements have been reached between Russia and Ukraine, according to international media reports. ‘Such a meeting must be the result of concrete agreements between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations. Russia should protect its own interests,’ has declared Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin spokesperson. The Kremlin spokesperson has responded to Volodymyr Zelensky, who had earlier proposed a trilateral meeting. The Ukrainian president has also arrived in Berlin, where he is to be received by Chancellor Friedrich Merz and then by President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The critics of US President Donald Trump, who has accused his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to “became completely crazy” because of the Russian strikes in Ukraine, continue to provoke a reaction from the Kremlin, which seems to want to test the limits of the US president. For his part, Vladimir Putin’s diplomatic adviser, Yuri Ushakov, has indicated on Wednesday that ‘Trump is not sufficiently informed about what is really happening in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation’. The adviser has said that Trump ‘says a lot of things’ and that his comments are read and followed. According to him, the Kremlin has come to the conclusion that Trump ‘is not informed about the increasingly frequent attacks that Ukraine is carrying out against Russian cities.’ He has explained that Donald Trump knows ‘only about the reprisals taken by Russia,’ but ‘does not fully understand’ that the Russian armed forces are striking – according to Kremlin rhetoric – only military infrastructure or the Ukrainian defence industry. Kremlin’s rhetoric – Ukrainian military infrastructure or the defence industry.
