Kisangani, July 3rd, 2021 (CPA).- A delegation of Congolese and Belgian researchers, author of the monograph of the province of Tshopo entitled: « The colonial politico-administrative construction transformed into a position of Congolese nationalism », submitted, Wednesday, a lot of this literary production, to the president of the Provincial Assembly of Tshopo, Gilbert Bokungu Isongibi, in his office in Kisangani, the CPA learned on Friday from a source close to this provincial institution.
Gilbert Bokungu Isongibi thanked the group of researchers for the production of this work which allows the Boyomais to discover other realities of their entity, before reassuring him of the support of his institution for the promotion of this collective work of spirit. .
According to the head of the delegation, Prof. Dieudonné Kabudri Legi, this work has five parts, respectively addressing the realities of the physical Tshopo, migration, socio-political history, the footsteps of Patrice Emery Lumumba, as well as the development assets of this region.
In the first part related to the physical Tshopo, these researchers describe the relief of the province, its hydrography, as well as its fauna, while in the second part, they focus on human trafficking, mainly migration and local languages. .
The 3rd part of this book is, for its part, devoted to the socio-political penetration of Tshopo where we mainly see the penetration of Arabs and Europeans while the 4th part looks at the period of decolonization where Patrice Emery Lumumba is cited as a key political figure.
The last part of this work finally addresses the socio-economic aspects of this administrative entity, presenting in detail the wealth, potential and demography of the province, he concluded. ACP/NIG
