Group Africa Vivendi intends to support the DRC in its digitalization project

Kinshasa, July 10th, 2021 (CPA).– The Minister of Digital, Désiré Cashmir Eberande Kolongele, exchanged views Thursday in Kinshasa, in the evening, with a delegation from the firm called: Group Vivendi Africa, a French firm specializing in digital, came to present a project on the contribution and efficiency that the digital sector can bring to the development of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the CPA learned on Friday from the Ministry of Digital.

Mr. Nicolas Descamp, Managing Director of Group Vivendi Africa who led the delegation, said at the end of the interview his delegation had with Minister Kolongele, that they discussed the possibility of seeing how to make the said project a reality. , in order to support the government in its vision of a digital Congo, as quickly as possible and in the best conditions for users.

“The project mainly works on fiber optic connectivity. Households in the city of Kinshasa and those in the city of Goma, capital of the province of North Kivu are already benefiting from the services of this project, which we want to extend to other regions of the DRC ”, concluded the director.
