Kinshasa, May 3rd, 2021 (CPA).– National inflation for the last week of April, means from April 25th to May 1st of the current year, stood at 0.086% against 0.091% the previous week and 0.090% against 0.095% a week earlier in Kinshasa, indicates a press release from the National Institute of Statistics (INS) received on Sunday at CPA.
According to the source, cumulatively, this inflation reached 1.500% nationally and 1.541% in Kinshasa.
On an annualized basis, it stands at 4.660% nationally and 4.789% in Kinshasa. Year on year, it reached 13.931% nationally and 14.466% in Kinshasa.
Inflation for the week under review, the source continues, is due in particular to the increase in the prices of vegetables, fish, spare parts for vehicles, stationery, fuels, catering services, as well as personal care items. ACP /
