Kinshasa, July 24th, 2021 (CPA).– The Minister of Digital Désiré Cashmir Eberande Kolongele, said he was satisfied with the good progress Thursday, the workshop setting the framework and the organic structures of the General Secretariat of his ministry, which takes place in Kinshasa, at the Caritas center in the town of La Gombe.
He thus expressed himself on Thursday, July 22nd, by encouraging the experts from the various sectors who take part in these meetings, the purpose of which is to provide a good administration for the Ministry of Digital, in order to materialize the vision of the President of the Republic, Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, that of making the digital sector a lever for the integration of good governance and economic growth.
According to Mr. Medart Kalenda, expert at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Humanitarian Action, this workshop is beneficial and will help to make efficient the performance and traceability of data collection in his sector, in order to respond to the missions assigned by the government.
For his part, Mr. Martin Shimbula, expert at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works, considered that these meetings are a great opportunity that allows updating the management of new information and communication technologies archives at his ministry for the proper functioning of its administration. He then hoped that at the end of the said work, the experts from the various sectors present would manage to endow the Digital Ministry with a professional General Secretariat, worthy of its name and its importance.
