The American African Development company wishing to invest in the DRC

Kinshasa, June 25th, 2021 (CPA).– The American company called: « American African Development », specialized in agro-industry and the transformation of garbage into electricity, expressed last Wednesday in Kinshasa, its intentions to invest in the Republic Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

The director of development of this company, Baudouin Tambwe and the delegation that accompanied him, expressed this wish during a meeting with the Minister of Industry, Julien Paluku Kahongya and his colleague of People living with disabilities, Irène Esambo , indicates a press release from the Ministry of Industry received Friday at the CPA.

The two members of the government showed a particular interest of the government in this kind of projects. “The city province of Kinshasa alone produces 10,000 (ten thousand) tons of garbage per day which is not exploited. Hence their transformation into electricity will help create wealth and employment for young people. This project also meets the vision of the President of the Republic, Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, who wants to make Congolese industry a factor of peace and stability, « said the Minister of Industry.

Committed to coming to do business in the DRC, these investors reassured the government, through Baudouin Tambwe, to do everything possible to settle in the country. “We are very advanced in being able to transform this garbage into electricity and building materials. We have started discussions with members of the government and we expect to start very soon, ”said Mr. Baudouin Tambwe in substance. ACP/
