The role of education in a child’s curriculum highlighted by a social educator

Kinshasa, July 10th, 2021 (CPA).- Ms. Véronique Mutombo, coordinator of the NGO “Support for unemployed women and girls” and promoter of a school in the commune of Lemba, during an exchange on Friday with the ‘CPA within his school, highlighted the role of education which is, in his opinion, the essential pillar that can ensure a bright future in the course of a child.

Education is the first factor of economic and human development, she added, stressing that on the strength of this many countries are mounting strategies to bring all children to school where teachers complete the education received in the family. .

Ms. Mutombo, also a life educator, supports and considers free basic education as well as the bonus granted to female students and those in difficult circumstances as strategies to attract children to school.

Regarding home education, she recalled that the major responsibility for its materialization lies with the woman who often remains with the child. Hence the adage: « To educate a woman is to educate the whole of society »!

For this social actress, school remains the second world that the child discovers after the family, and it is there where he learns the basics of writing, arithmetic and life as well as socializing, sharing and help each other in society. ACP/
