Lubumbashi, July 10th, 2021 (CPA).- The youth coordinator of Haut-Katanga, Orville Kanyembo, said during the Conclave for Peace and Sustainable Development, recently organized by the Provincial Assembly in Lubumbashi, capital of this province, that the youth is a non-negligible pillar in the consolidation of peace, learned Friday the CPA from sources close to this state institution.
Mr. Kanyembo insisted on the mobilization and involvement of this segment of the population in the search for solutions to social problems, before emphasizing the need to organize and sensitize these young people to tolerance and ‘acceptance of the freedom of others in order to avoid unnecessary conflicts.
He also took this opportunity to invite the politico-administrative authorities of the province to always involve the youth in the resolution of various questions to establish peace which is a « pledge of sustainable development ». ACP/
