Continuation of the decontamination operation of Ndjili international airport

Kinshasa, April 27th, 2021 (CPA) .- A team of technicians from the National Border Hygiene Program (PNHF), mostly doctors, continued on Sunday the decontamination operation of the international airport platform of Ndjili by spraying the national arrival and departure sites, the access routes used by users and travelers as well as the Covid-19 collection tents installed by the National Biomedical Research Institute (INRB ) Confiding in the CPA, one of the technicians indicated that the aim of this operation is to break the chain of transmission of germs, especially during this period of the Covid-19 pandemic. This disease is transmitted, according to him, by droplets of saliva, thus making the entire area frequented by platform users and travelers at high risk, especially since the holy carriers are ignored. The decontamination operation is thus carried out as a preventive measure to make the entire surface in contact with users and travelers holy, he pointed out. This routine activity, which will continue until the eradication of the Coronavirus pandemic in the DRC, is an initiative of the PNHF led by the national director Dédé Ndungi Ndungi represented at Ndjili international airport by Dr. Martin Balemeka, head of post.
