March 24th, 2021(CPA).- The President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, exchanged on Tuesday at the city of the African Union, with a delegation from the Africa Office of the US State Department, led by the United States Special Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan, Ambassador Donald Booth on issues of interest to the DRC and the United States.

They discussed COVID-19, recent Ebola outbreaks and economic opportunities. They pledged to work together to strengthen health security, increase regional trade and investment, promote human rights and good governance, and address the challenges of climate change. The Vice President is committed to working with the DRC government to advance girls’ education and strengthen economic opportunities for all Congolese.
