Kinshasa, July 3rd, 2021 (CPA) .- The honorary provincial minister of Tshopo, Lokangu Wifongo, joined on Friday in Kinshasa, the presidential party « Union for democracy and social progress » (UDPS), precisely in the base cell de Righini, Federation of Mont-Amba, in the municipality of Mont Ngafula.
The political administrative formalities of this membership were made during a ceremony attended by two national secretaries of this party.
Explaining to the press the meaning of his membership, Lokangu Wifongo, also president of the National Fund for the Promotion of Sports in the DRC, indicated that he supports the vision of the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo and that the values that it is in line with the expectations of the Congolese population.
« I joined this party not to have a job like the others do, but rather because the members of this party are motivated by their strength in the various actions carried out during the marches for the establishment of democracy. and positive change in the country, ”he said in substance.
The national secretary of the UDPS, Peter Kasongo, said on this occasion that this meeting consisted in strengthening the exchanges of contacts with the members of all the basic units of the Federation as well as in the reflection around the issue of governance of the country under the leadership of President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi.
