Kinshasa, June 25th, 2021 (CPA).– The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Civil Service, modernization of the administration, innovation of public services, Jean-Pierre Lihau Ebwa Kalokola Mongalibana reiterated his determination to do everything possible to that the enarques be usefully assigned in the public administration.
He said so on Thursday, on the occasion of the publication of the results of the recruitment competition for the 7th promotion of the National School of Administration (ENA).
« I pledge to make all arrangements so that henceforth those who come out of this ENA training process are automatically assigned to a sector of public administration. We can no longer accept that young academics trained by ENA are looking for assignments, « he reassured.
Jean-Pierre Lihau welcomed the vision of the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo to rejuvenate the public administration, notably through the ENA, a school of excellence which trains young people fresh out of university, in order to prepare them for a career in different fields within public administration.
« You cannot rejuvenate without training and neither can you claim to modernize public administration without having adequate resources, » said Deputy Prime Minister Lihau.
He also praised the support of Belgium and France in the training of young people called to build a new public administration in the DRC.
To give more luck to a large number of young Congolese, Jean-Pierre Lihau suggested to ENA officials that this training could increase from 100 to 200 students by next year. He also entrusted them with the mission of examining ways and means of upgrading the agents admitted under status.
For the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the Civil Service, modernization of the administration, innovation of public services, the ENA will have to identify the academic profile of each candidate and give them specific training to guide them in their respective fields.
91 men and 9 women admitted to the 7th promotion of the ENA
91 men and 9 women out of the 475 candidates for the entrance examination to ENA passed this test, which emerges from the results made public by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Civil Service, modernization of the administration, innovation of public services, Jean-Pierre Lihau Ebwa Kalokola Mongalibana.
According to these results, the city of Kinshasa obtained 75% of successes, or 75 young people admitted to the ENA at the end of the competition. It is followed by South Kivu with 5, Mongala and Tshopo 4, Kongo central 3, Kasai oriental 2, Kasaï central 2, Lualaba 2, Tanganyika 1, Maniema 1 and Kwilu 1.
However, Emanuel Kumbedi Mbata obtained the highest score with 86.6%, while on the women’s side, Helène Nkanku was the one who had the best result. ACP/
