Bunia, July 24th, 2021 (CPA).- MONUSCO is always ready to continue to train units of the Armed Forces of the DRC (FARDC) in order to destroy the negative forces of the DRC, declared the Force Commander of the DRC. MONUSCO in the DRC, Lieutenant General Affonso Da Costa, in his closing remarks on the military formation of the 3206th FARDC Regiment by MONUSCO in Rwampara, a suburb located more than 10 km west of the town of Bunia.
Lieutenant General Affonso Da Costa DRC said he was very happy with this formation of the FARDC which are equipped with all the skills and war tactics that will allow them to defeat the enemy.
« I am confident », he affirmed, before exhorting them to obey their hierarchical leaders by the good actions on the ground.
Sanctioned by the presentation of the patents to the laureates, this ceremony was enhanced by the respective presence of the Vice-Governor, Divisional Commissioner Alongabony Benjamin, representing his prevented holder, of the Commander of the Force of MONUSCO in the DRC, Lieutenant General Affonso Da Costa as well as the Commander of the operational sector in Ituri, Brigadier General Kasongo Maloba Robert, representing the Commander of the 32nd Military Region.
688 soldiers were trained by 14 instructors from different countries in in-depth tactical training, weaponry, jungle combat and human rights during military operations over 14 days, it is reported.ACP/Fng/nig
