Kinshasa, July 17th, 2021 (CPA).– The national deputy Jean-Constantin Kanow Manungayi, elected from the electoral district of Kamonia, in the province of Kasai, assisted the population of the village of Milolo, in the sector of Kasaï-Kabambayi, set on fire during the night of Monday 12 July to Tuesday 13 July 2021, learned the CPA desk leader of the Bakwa-Tshipanga group, Mukandila Tshindemba.
According to this group leader, more than 20 houses were reduced to ashes by a fire whose origin is still unknown, exposing many families to spend the night under the stars, in the middle of the dry season Which explains the emotion and compassion of Congressman Kanow.
His donation consists in particular of clothes to protect the child victims of this disaster against the cold, sheets for the victim households as well as financial assistance, pending the intervention of the competent authorities.
As for its distribution, the precise orientations of the elected representative of Kamonia were given to the team of « the Dynamics of the Honorable Kanow », led by Me Freddy Mudibwa, for deployment in the affected sector, in order to comfort the stricken population of Milolo.
These burned houses are small makeshift huts built by these villagers in the aftermath of the massacres of the Kamuina Nsapu militia (2017-2018) which killed and burned everything in its path, it is recalled. ACP/
