Kinshasa, May 31st, 2021 (CPA).- Nearly 12,455 candidates spread over 165 test centers throughout the national territory, participate in the preliminary test of the professional studies exam at the end of the year, 2021 edition, launched Sunday in Kinshasa by the Minister of Vocational Training and Trades, Antoinette Kipulu Kabenga.
In her remarks for the occasion, Minister Antoinette Kipulu underlined the need for this test, the first since Ministerial Order number 355 of February 14, 2019 establishing a National End of Vocational Studies Examination (ENFEP) which is an opportunity to create the middle class to contribute to the development of the country.
She added that this ordeal puts at the center of society, the human interest, as advocated by the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, and recalled by the government action program Jean- Marie Sama Lukonde.
Accompanied by the provincial Minister in charge of Education, Charles Mbutamuntu and executives from his ministry, Antoinette Kipulu walked around the centers for this preliminary test.
These are the Technical Institute of Bumbu (Kin-Ouest), the ITC Victoire in the commune of Kasa-vubu (Kin-Center) and the ITI N’Djili (Kin-Est), where the Minister distributed the Items containing the tests, before encouraging participants to give the best of themselves in order to earn access to the big session in July.
For her, if the Congolese education system had not highlighted vocational training and trades for decades, the enhancement of this ministry for which it is responsible, should challenge candidates and lead them to rectify the shots.
In addition, Minister Antoinette Kipulu recalled that her institution has set itself the objective of increasing reception capacity by building training centers and further improving their quality and equity. She thus made parents, educators and youth supervisors aware of this challenge.
For his part, the Kinshasa Provincial Minister in charge of Education Charles Mbutamuntu encouraged this initiative of his colleague in Vocational Training and Trades which fits with the vision of the President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo aiming at the creation of the middle class, in the DRC, with a view to a qualified workforce to contribute to the development of the DRC.
He also welcomed the involvement of the Minister of Vocational Training and Trades, who will support the provincial government to support the vocational training sector to move forward.
