Opening on Wednesday of the ordinary session in the Senate

Kinshasa, September 14th, 2021 (CPA).- The plenary session for the solemn opening of the September 2021 ordinary session in the Senate is convened on Wednesday September 15th, 2021, in the international conference room at the People’s Palace, in the municipality of Lingwala, announced the rapporteur of the upper house of Parliament, Michel Kanyimbu, in an official statement received on Monday at CPA.

According to the source, this September ordinary session, mainly budgetary, convened in accordance with article 115 of the constitution, presents many challenges for the political class, it is noted.

Among the files awaiting answers, the source indicates; include the budget bill for the 2022 financial year, the establishment of the bodies and leaders of the new Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI), the pursuit of parliamentary control and others.
