President Félix Tshisekedi invited to the inauguration of President Denis Sassou Nguesso

President Dénis Sassou Nguesso was re-elected for a five-year term in the last presidential election in Congo / Brazzaville, it is recalled. President Denis SassouNguesso was elected President of Congo for a fourth consecutive term, according to a Constitutional Court ruling which ruled « inadmissible » appeals by opponents calling for the election to be canceled. According to Auguste Iloki, president of the highest judicial body in the country, Denis Sassou Nguesso, 77, collected 88.40%. The stake was 67.55%. Since his election as head of the DRC, President Félix Tshisekedi has made several trips to Congo / Brazzaville as part of the strengthening of secular relations between the two states linked by geography and history.
