Prime Minister attends thanksgiving mass in memory of his father Stephane Lukonde

Lubumbashi, May 3rd, 2021 (CPA).– Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, attended, on Saturday, the thanksgiving mass said in the parish of Saints Marie and Virginie of Lubumbashi, in memory of his biological father, Stephane Lukonde, assassinated with his companion Benoît Kyoni on the road to Kipushi in 2001.

This mass, celebrated at the request of the members of these two families, was an opportunity to praise God for his wonders and to perpetuate the ideals of these two personalities. In his homily from the gospel of Matthew 7, 15; the efficient praised the qualities of these politicians who fought for freedom.

He called on the audience to imitate the moral values ​​of these leaders and the sense of sharing.

Several politico-administrative personalities, both national and provincial, including the governor of Haut-Katanga, attended this mass.
