Provincial education ministers invited to fight against anti-values ​​in their provinces

Kinshasa, July 24th, 2021 (CPA).- The Minister of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST), Pr Tony Mwaba Kazadi, on Friday invited the provincial ministers of education to fight against all forms of anti-values ​​in their respective provinces, at the opening of a workshop on the state of play in the provinces of this educational sector at Sultani hotel in the town of Gombe.

The EPST minister who also recommended to the provincial ministers to put an end to all forms of conflict, criticized the interference of the governors in the establishment of the EPST executives, stressing that the monopoly of education belongs to the state.

Regarding the decline in the quality of education in the country, he stressed the need to set the record straight by making a qualitative change in order to obtain results in the short, medium and long term.

Faced with the various evils that plague the EPST sub-sector, said the acting Secretary General at EPST, Christine Nepa-Nepa, this meeting is intended to be a framework for the exchange of ideas and strategies in order to find adapted solutions to redress the level and quality of education in the DRC.
