Kinshasa, July 22sd, 2021 (CPA).- The Ministry in charge of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST) announces the holding on Friday, at Sultani hotel, in Gombe municipality in Kinshasa, of a workshop bringing together the provincial education ministers on the state of play of the sector in their respective entities, CPA learned on Thursday from sources close to this ministry.
This activity organized by the supervisory ministry, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, with the impetus of Prime Minister Jean Michel Sama Lukonde, aims to harmonize the national vision of the authority in educational matters, it was reported.
Previously, it is reported, the Minister in charge of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST), Prof. Tony Mwaba Kazadi, had exchanged with the leaders of religious denominations including Kimbaguist, Revival Churches and the Church of Christ in Congo (ECC), on the revision of the school agreement which has linked, since February 1977, the Church to the State.
In this context, the Minister in charge of EPST intends to set up, in the coming days, a commission to revisit this convention which has become obsolete. ACP/
