Kinshasa, May 6th, 2021 (CPA).– The Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and New Information and Communication Technologies PT-NTIC, Augustin Kibassa Maliba received on Wednesday, in his office, the delegation of the Congolese Post Office and telecommunications, led by the General Director, Didier Musete, who came to present to him the state of play and the action plan of this State enterprise.
« We have prepared an inventory endogenously with the agents and executives and validated at the level of the board of directors in order to offer DRC better telecommunications services, » said the General Director.
For him, SCPT has an action plan that spans a period of three to six months. The latter aims to rehabilitate the infrastructures in order to restore the tarnished image and become what we could have been for a long time, in particular the first operator of Telecommunications on the whole of the national territory, in terms of network on the optical fiber, on the data center but also on access to value-added services.
While recognizing the state in which the company finds itself and the difficult times it is going through, the General Director of SCPT does not intend to back down despite these difficulties.
It remains, moreover, determined to implement the important project that it carries for this State enterprise, in particular the finalization of the installation of the optical fiber network to connect the whole country, to finally offer to Congolese services have many added values in the telecommunications sector.
