The DRC needs the energies to bring out the light of freedom, according to Augustin Mangemosi

Kinshasa, July 24th, 2021 (CPA).– The new doctor in international relations Augustin Mangemosi Luwawu declared, Thursday, during the public defense of his doctoral thesis at the National Pedagogical University (UPN) that the DRC needs energies to shine the light of freedom and development.

« The Congo does not need opponents, but rather energies that can objectively oppose to shine the light of freedom and development, » he said.

He urged the Congolese youth to free themselves from the shackles of despair as well as the prevailing fatalism and fear of blazing the future.

In his doctoral thesis entitled “Geopolitical and diplomatic alliances and coalitions in mid-Africa: a contribution to the refocusing of the Democratic Republic of the Congo”, Augustin Mangemosi developed the various diplomatic relations and issues between states.

Need to impose a « Kongolaise » democracy

In addition, the new doctor stressed that internally, the DRC must impose democracy to the « Kongolaise » as a tool or means of appropriating its independence and sovereignty, to build or invent a new Congolese man.

In this Kongolese democracy, it will also be a question of promoting national defense and security on the political, economic, environmental, social and humanitarian levels, of developing constitutional regionalism and transformational diplomacy for its international influence.

It is also necessary, recommended the new doctor, to promote public-private partnership, to impose the industrialization of the country and its food self-sufficiency, to build a collective memory based on national solidarity and to create a bank to promote middle class and the granting of credit to the poor.

This thesis, which earned him the mention « the greatest distinction » and the degree of doctor in international relations, was examined by the jury composed of professors Jean-Lucien Kitima Kasendwe (promoter), Etienne Ngoie Mbayo, Iko Kabwita Kabolo (secretary UPN Academic General), Kalubi M’kola, Bobongo Libakea, Bulayimu Wite and Ememe Nkalamba.
