The First Lady gives a donation of food and non-food to two schools and 2.6 tons of medicine in Goma

Kinshasa, June 17th 2021 (CPA).– The First Lady, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, on a working stay in Goma, in Nord Kivu province, handed over benches, uniforms and notebooks as well as food to students and teachers on Wednesday of EPA of the Institute of Goma (EP AIGO) and of the Amani high school, before offering 2.6 tons of drugs to Kyeshero Hospital in Goma, indicates a press release from Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi Foundation (FDNT).

Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi popularized, on this occasion, « Excellentia program » at Lycee Amani, of which two finalists for 2019-2020 school year received the scholarship, before comforting the students and teachers who were victims of the volcanic eruption.

She then proceeded personally to the delivery of drugs to the provincial health division of Nord Kivu (DPS-NK), for equitable distribution in various health centers in Goma where the need to ensure good care disaster relief is felt.

 The staff of the hospital as well as that of DPS-NK also received food, a donation from FDNT, it informs.

Arrival with her husband since Saturday, June 12th in Goma, the First Lady, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, through her Foundation, has remained close to the victims of the volcanic eruption of Nyiragongo. Already, the day after this natural disaster, a delegation had been dispatched to Goma with food and non-food donations to assist this population, it is recalled.
