Kinshasa, July 17th, 2021 (CPA).– The director general of the Office des voiries et drainage (OVD), Victor Tumba, left Kinshasa on Friday for Kananga, capital of the province of Kasai Central, for a mission of monitoring of the work of the “Tshilejelu” project financed by the government, learned the same day from the CPA of airport services in N’djili, in the commune of N’sele.
The DG of the OVD will also go to Mbujimayi, provincial capital of Kasai Oriental, for the inspection of the same works that target the rehabilitation of urban roads in Grand Kasai and in the capital Kinshasa, it is indicated.
Victor Ntumba’s trip to Grand Kasai would be part of an imminent trip by the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi in this space, the same source informs.
The « Tshilejelu » project launched by the Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi, and funded to the tune of 120 million US dollars, aims to improve urban roads in the aforementioned space, for a total of 100 km, as well as a few arteries of the capital Kinshasa, it is recalled. ACP/
