Lubumbashi, May 3rd, 2021 (CPA).– Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde, on Friday called on the population of Haut-Katanga, to ban tribalism and to favor national unity for the development of the Democratic Republic of Congo, in a message he sent to the population at Place Moïse Tshombe, in Lubumbashi.
The Head of Government, who is making his first official visit to Haut-Katanga since his appointment as Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic by President Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, asked the population to collaborate with the provincial authorities in order to raise the national economy.
For the Prime Minister, the government of the Sacred Union of the Nation, under the leadership of the Head of State, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, is committed to bringing about change in various fields, in particular health and education.
He is staying in this part of the country with the Minister in charge of Posts, Telecommunications and New Information and Communication Technology (NTIC), Augustin Kibassa Maliba, the Minister in charge of Sports and Recreation, Serge Nkonde Chembo and the Deputy Minister in charge of Public Health and Prevention, Ms. Véronique Kilumba Nkulu.
