Kinshasa, June 19th, 2021 (CPA).- The Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo launched an appeal on Friday, on inclusiveness in the digital sector in Africa, during his speech by videoconference at the “Viva Technologie” exhibition held in Paris, where “Start-ups” also participate, young innovative companies in the Congolese new technology sector, reports the services of the Ministry of Digital present at this great forum of the digital economy.
During his speech, the President of the Republic greeted his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, as well as the participants and organizers of this event which, according to him, is a real meeting of innovations and instrument of unity between States around new information, communication and digital technologies.
President Tshisekedi believes in the digital future
“It should be noted that to date, all countries in the world have become dependent on digital, which is a dynamic and creative sector. Digital technology is developing new technologies, new computer languages every day, « said the Head of State.
He also underlined that, for a better future, Digital must be the lever of economic growth in the service of increased revenues, good governance and the fight against corruption, before adding that the sector of digitization is also an opportunity to facilitate exchanges between researchers and entrepreneurs around the world.
Previously, the Minister of Digital, Désiré Cashmir Eberande Kolongele, had exchanged with the French Secretary of State in charge of Digital Transition, Mr. Cédric O, on issues related to the development of digital in several sectors, in particular, health, l education and public administration, it is recalled.
