Writer MweyaTol’Ande thanks the First Lady of DRC for honoring her

Kinshasa, May 12th 2021 (CPA).– The writer and poet, Elisabeth MweyaTol’Ande, sent a message of thanks to the First Lady of the Republic, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, on Wednesday, for having honored him by returning visit to her home in Ngiri-Ngiri municipality on May 3rd, in her capacity not only as a woman of letters but also for her commitment to the self-promotion of women and families.

She considers that this visit of the First Lady to a popular district of the capital, is « irrefutable proof of her love for people, of her charisma in promoting the image of women according to the different sectors and at the same time, her penchant for literature and culture in general.

Ms. Mweya also let it be known that beyond this visit, God remembered the work he charged her to do with women and families through the outlying municipalities of the city of Kinshasa. as well as in the provinces, specifying that: « this visit raised my head and pulled me out of the silence and oblivion that were becoming inevitable despite the loyal services rendered to the nation through my multisectoral commitment and my proven communication skills. , in planning, monitoring and evaluation, project management and others ».

She finally recognized that this visit by the First Lady put her back on her feet to revitalize the activities of « Development, information, research, action for women and families » (DIRAF) NGO, and the relaunch of the liaison bulletin and ‘exchange of experiences, as well as the functioning of the Center for learning techniques and trades (CATEM) in Bumbu, which trained young people on the professional level, in literacy, sex education and responsible reproduction.
