Matadi, July 3rd, 2021 (CPA).- The non-profit association for the fight against violence against the values of abandoned women and children (ALVFEA), coordinated by Mr. Zephyrin Nakata Bomas, closed Tuesday in Matadi, the training of 275 people who will have to sensitize, on the ground, the population of this port city on the support for free primary education advocated by the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo.
According to the provincial finance officer of the ALVFEA, Mr. Alain Tsimba Kambu, who indicated Thursday in an interview with the CPA, this training, started on May 26, was organized by series of 25 people per group to comply with the barrier measures against the 3rd wave of covid-19.
Alain Tsimba noted the importance of this awareness, which aims to prevent a possible cessation of financial support from international partners in this educational sector, estimating that with a voluntary contribution of 1,000 CFA or $ 0.5 per person and per month, there is instead of supporting the vision of the Head of State on free basic education.
This awareness that this philanthropic organization intends to launch, assured its finance officer, will allow the creation of a public interest bank account to call for funds to definitively guarantee free primary education.
The expected result of this public interest bank account, assured Alain Tsimba Kambu, is to allow the country’s children to be competitive and productive in the concert of nations and to fight against the disparaged values of teachers with regard to children.
For its effectiveness, the management of this free education support account should be monitored by the ministries of primary, secondary and technical education (EPST), gender, family and children and human rights, a- he concluded. ACP/NIG
