Pangi, July 17th, 2021 (CPA).– The CAPS development NGO announced in a report sent Thursday 07/15/2021 to the political-administrative authorities and to the partners of the provincial Ministry of Agriculture, fishing and breeding that 367 goats have been decimated since last April by an unidentified epizootic in the Wakabangu 2 sector in Pangi territory.
In this report, Engineer Pierre Makuta deplored the consumption as well as the commercialization by the population of the meat of these chard killed by a disease not yet known, before requesting the support of the provincial government and its partners an urgent descent of the doctors veterinarians in this sector for technical assistance to these poor peasants who helplessly witness the death of their domestic economy which is based mainly on agriculture and the breeding of small cattle.
