A group of provincial deputies contest the procedure for the ousting of the president of APKOR

Mbuji-Mayi, July 3rd, 2021 (CPA).– The eleven provincial deputies who did not participate in last Tuesday’s plenary which dismissed the president of the Kasai Oriental Provincial Assembly Yves Mwamba Kadima, during a meeting , contested the procedure for forfeiture of their president, the ACP learned Thursday from a few participants in the meeting who requested anonymity.

The protesters castigate the fact that the accused was never invited to be heard on the charges against him, in accordance with the internal regulations.

These deputies reject the accusation that the ousted president has created two groups in the provincial parliament, claiming that the elected representatives of the people are all animated by the same sentiments to control the executive and presage a bright future for the voters. ACP/NIG
