Kananga, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- The « Office National d’Hydraulique Rural » (ONHR) built three water wells in Tshikungula, Musasa and Tshilumbu primary schools, one of the communes of Nganza, in Kananga, Kasai Central, announced Wednesday to the CPA, the provincial coordinator of this public service of the State, Justin Musumari.
This project, which is part of the emergency program of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST), he said, is an initiative to make it easy to provide drinking water to the populations of these schools and those surrounding them, in order to prevent them from various water-borne diseases.
The construction works of two other boreholes are being carried out in the primary schools Nyemba and Mimuemue located in the commune of Lukonga, in the capital of Kasaï Central, he said. ACP/
