Creation of an association of Kongo Central journalists

Mbanza-Ngungu, August 7^th, 2021 (CPA).- An association of journalists from Kongo Central was created during a meeting held in Mbanza-Ngungu, on the initiative of José Mambuini, provincial deputy of Kongo Central and owner of the « Global Kongo television » (GKV) television channel based in this city. The initiative to create the « Association of Journalists and Community Media of Kongo Central (AJCM / KC) » was motivated by the concern to protect interests of journalists and media in this province against any form of injustice and to facilitate contacts with professionals both inside and outside the country while providing various training in the context of capacity building, said the initiator. welcomed the great participation of journalists in this first meeting which, he noted, demonstrated the will to constitute a single force capable of fighting against all forms of anti-values ​​of which the press is often victim.
