Incineration in Lubumbashi of 2,150 boxes of alcoholic beverages

Lubumbashi, May 29th, 2021 (CPA).– 2,150 cartons of high-dose alcoholic beverages were cremated last Wednesday at the Tshombe plain of the annexed commune in Lubumbashi by elements of the Katanga military court, the CPA learned from sources authorized. Indeed, the provincial government of Haut-Katanga is committed to fighting against the production and consumption of high-dose alcoholic beverages at the root of insecurity and crime.

The act of seizure and destruction was read by the chief inspector of the military auditorat of Katanga, Lieutenant-Colonel Moïse Kumba and signed by the senior military auditor and public prosecutor at the military court of Katanga, the magistrate colonel, Jean Lita Goro. ACP/Fng/nig
