Kinshasa: The draft edict relating to the rendering of accounts for the 2020 financial year filed with the Court of Accounts

Kinshasa, May 22nd, 2021 (CPA).- The provincial Minister of Finance, Jean Ngoy Mvunzi, officially submitted, Thursday, to the Court of Accounts in Kinshasa, the draft edict relating to the rendering of accounts for the 2020 financial year, to the hands of its president, Ernest Izemenga Nsaa-Nsaa. Confiding in the CPA, he declared that it was a question of responding to a legal duty that of reporting on the management of public affairs to the Court of Auditors, specifying that after this stage, this draft Accountability will be entrusted to the Kinshasa Chamber of Accounts for careful analysis, before it is submitted to the Kinshasa Provincial Assembly.

For his part, the president of the Court of Auditors, Ernest Izemenga Nsaa-Nsaa, has indicated that this is not only a legal and constitutional obligation but also a democratic requirement. ACP/
