Goma, July 10th, 2021 (CPA).- The government of the province of North Kivu has just fixed by decree, the fees for participating in the state examination which amount to 80,000fc, or the equivalent of US $ 40.
According to this decree signed by the vice-governor, the main divisional commissioner Jean Romuald Ekuka Lipopo, in place of the prevented governor, these costs were retained at the end of a consultation between the various stakeholders of the educational sector in North Kivu. .
« In view of the particular situation that prevails in the provinces, in particular the Covid-19 situation, the volcanic eruption and the installation of a state of siege, we have rounded the corners. We agree, the parents ‘committee, the teachers’ union and the provincial governorate as well as the fees services contained in the decree,”said the vice-governor who took the opportunity to call the parents to comply with the provisions of the provincial decree made public.
The vice-governor thus seized the opportunity to wish good luck to the finalist candidates of his jurisdiction expressing the wish to see this youth participate, after the studies, in the reconstruction of North Kivu and the DR Congo.
The participation fees are thus distributed due to 50,000 CDF for out-of-session events and 30,000 CDF payable during ordinary session events and that any attempt to boycott will be punishable by law.
On behalf of his peer parents, Mr. Malick Gilima, President of the provincial branch of the association of parents of pupils and students in Congo, ANAPEECO, the involvement of the provincial authority is more than beneficial especially than the costs participation have decreased slightly compared to those previously set.
