Official launching of the sale of the products of the Congolese gas company in Kenge

Kenge, July 17th, 2021 (CPA).The provincial supervisor of the Congolese Society of Gaze (SO’GAZ) du grand Bandundu, Francis Isekemanga, officially launched the sale of SO’GAZ products, Thursday in Kenge, capital of the Kwango province, with a view to responding to the problem of lack of electric power and deforestation of the great Bandundu, in general and of Kwango, in particular.

According to Francis Isekemanga, the installation in Kenge of SO’GAZ, which has taken the option of extending the sale of its products throughout the DRC, aims to save the country’s forests through the use of gas kits instead of charcoal which is the basis of deforestation and global warming.

This activity was by the Mayor of the city, Augustin Mvunzi, at the relay depot for SO’GAZ products belonging to Tume Service for the supply of customers without stock shortage, said SO’GAZ marketing assistant, Armand Kabeya Ngandu. .

For the latter, the use of SO’GAZ products makes it possible to no longer destroy the forests which, in the past, produced non-timber forest products (NTFPs), in order to fight against climate change through the use of SO’GAZ products.

The provincial coordinator of Environment and Sustainable Development, Baudouin Makaka, who praised the partnership between the Ministry of the Environment and SOGAZ, reassured this company of the support of its coordination to the alternative of the latter, by the sale of gas products, because, he said, « Kenge is a driver of deforestation. »

In his turn, the vice-president of the provincial assembly of Kwango welcomed the arrival of SO’GAZ which comes to bring the solution to the edict against the anarchic cutting of wood, which was recently voted by the Provincial Assembly. of Kwango and sent to the provincial executive for promulgation.

He, on behalf of the deliberative organ of the Kwango, called on the people to take ownership of the solution brought by this company, sparing the population from the uncontrolled cutting of timber and the effects of climate change.

According to the distributor of SO’GAZ products in Kenge, Emilie Tume, SO’GAZ products are not to be feared in use if the principles related to prudence are respected, adding that SO’GAZ products are available in all Kenge points of sale for fast, easy and safe cooking. ACP/
