PRONANUT / Kongo Central invites women to exclusively breastfeed children

Matadi, August 7^th, 2021 (CPA).- The provincial coordinator of the National Nutrition Program (PRONANUT) / Kongo Central, Mrs. Adolphine Mwavita, during an interview on Thursday with the ACP, invited the women of the province to breastfeed their children correctly and exclusively with breast milk for the first six months after birth. She launched this invitation as part of the awareness campaign for the promotion of World Breastfeeding Week (SMAM), the celebration of which is scheduled from August 10 at Kongo Central under the global theme: « Protecting breastfeeding, a shared responsibility. «This sensitization takes place in the provinces while PRONANUT is looking for support partners to support its activities, she added.
